Hello from Perth! I always leave it far too long to update this blog, sorry! Sophia is sitting on my lap licking a lolly pop just having slept for 2 hours, we've spent the morning socialising, I've just tried to do a bit of my dissertation, and we're now going to enjoy this sunny afternoon after the miserable downpour of the past few days. I can't believe we are more than halfway through our visit, time is just flying by. It is going to be a big wrench to leave, for both of us. The first thing Sophs says when she wakes up is 'go see Nan?'' and off she runs to go and find her. We are having a good time, though it took me over a month before I started to feel like I could untangle myself and begin to relax. Sophs has shot up a few inches and is speaking amazingly well, the development of a child is such an incredible thing to observe, and so enjoyable. At every stage I think it can't get any better but then she goes into the next one and it does!
