Given Sophia's fascination with helicopters I figured it was time for a return visit to the RAF museum 10 minutes drive away, which we have previously visited to admire the WWI and WWII aircraft, as well as the fighter planes and helicopters. We ambled around through the hangars, Sophia ran through the loading area of the Chinook helicopter at least 25 times before I got bored, and then we stumbled across the kiddie area where Sophs was delighted beyond words to find a helicopter she could actually sit in. And stay in. For quite some time. Still, it was a lovely distraction.
