Well I've done three exams now and have one left on Thursday and I have to say it has been goddamn hard bl***y work this year. I am physically shattered. I had a three week flu which kicked off my asthma in the weeks before they started, an ear infection over the weekend, bags the size of suitcases under my eyes and a sexy great big coldsore!! Nice. But I am fairly confident I have passed the first three. Stats was a b**ch and I didn't do quite as much work as I'd have liked but I still did enough to more than pass it. Social Psychology was marginally more stressful (three essays, three hours out of a possible 15 topics, lucky me the ones I studied came up!!) and today's on Psychobiology (animal experiments for the purposes of human comparison, I hate this topic) was fine. So there's just Developmental Psychology which I find really interesting on Thursday, about the development of children. Child Psychology is an area I am interested in, so it makes studying the topics far easier! I can't wait fo exams to be over so I can sleep for an entire weekend and then start catching up on everything I've put on the hold the last month (i.e. my life!). Off to Royal Ascot in June, hopefully to Seville in July and somewhere in Italy in August and Barcelona later in the year. And this Saturday we're off to see Christain Slater on stage in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Can't wait! Just gotta find the energy for the home straight now....
P.S. This is me studying in style at the Black Lion with a Long Island Iced 'tea' yesterday afternoon (it has 5 spirits in it, lubricated the brain)!! Stu very helpfully tested me on my topics which was brilliant and we entertained the people sitting near us with me talking about primate cognition and how marsh tits - a type of bird - do cognitive mapping of where they stashed their seeds!
